About

Honoring the Beginning

The Italian American Heritage Society had its first meeting at Joe’s Italian Restaurant on May 3, 2009. It was a gathering of Italians who wanted to preserve their Italian culture and share it with others in the community.

By sharing their culture, the Italian American Heritage Society offers Italian lessons in language and cooking, Italian film, religious ceremony, food festivals, Italian Bocce, Grape Stomping, dance and speakers at meetings. They also contribute their time and talents at many functions around the Birmingham area.
